Eintracht Frankfurt: U-turn with Filip Kostic?

Filip Kostic has been repeatedly associated with a farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt in recent months. But now the winger could turn around.

Filip Kostic is regularly traded with clubs from the Italian Serie A. A possible move to Lazio Rome burst last summer, and in recent weeks Inter Milan has been considered a hot contender for the 29-year-old to sign. However, national player Robin Gosens is now about to switch to the Italian champions.

The 27-year-old, who has been under contract with Atalanta Bergamo for the last few years, is at home on the left flank, like Kostic. As the “image“Assumed, an inter-engagement of the Frankfurter could have done it. Kostic had changed his advisor in the summer – probably to get better chances of a change. After all, Alessandro Lucci, who now represents the left wing, cares for the tabloid best relations with Inter and in Serie A.

Kostic can probably imagine staying at Eintracht Frankfurt

However, Kostic can apparently now also imagine staying at Eintracht Frankfurt for the long term. Accordingly, a new, long-term contract for the 43-time national player would be interesting. Kostic’s current working paper for the Bundesliga club is dated until 2023.

The fact that the left foot toyed with saying goodbye last summer and even missed the Bundesliga duel against Arminia Bielefeld at the end of August has long been forgiven at Eintracht Frankfurt, the winger is too important for coach Oliver Glasner’s team.

In the current season, Kostic has contributed three goals and ten assists in 23 competitive games so far. There is simply no getting past Kostic on the left wing at SGE.
