Dynamo family says goodbye to Dörner

The Dynamo family said goodbye to Hans-Jürgen Dörner.

Many fans, friends and long-time companions said goodbye to the record player of SG Dynamo Dresden on Thursday as part of a public commemoration event in Dresden’s Rudolf Harbig Stadium. Dörner died of cancer on January 19 of this year.

In addition to numerous fans, former teammates and friends such as Ulf Kirsten, Hartmut Schade, Matthias Sammer, Thomas Doll, Andreas Thom and actor Gunther Emmerlich also took part in the event. Dörner’s burial is to take place at a later date, closed to the public.
