Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league and there is no doubt that he is a proven superstar who has won everything possible. Generally, these types of players are not transferred. However, some recent speculation suggests that his future with the Brooklyn Nets is far from certain.
In Mismatch Podcast, by Kevin O’Connor, journalist Logan Murdock claimed that Durant “hasn’t spoken to the team in weeks,” adding that he currently has no confidence in the overall direction. Statements that set off all the alarms in Brooklyn.
«You have the rumors that Kyrie is looking for his future in another team and that he made some calls. Kevin Durant hasn’t spoken to the team in weeks and I don’t think Kevin has any confidence in the front office right now. I don’t know if he is at the stage of leaving, but there is great concern and not only on Kyrie’s side », highlighted the journalist.
It remains to be seen if the Brooklyn Nets can work things out with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Going into the season, the Nets have a championship contender if all of their players are healthy, but it seems things aren’t quite right between the stars and the franchise right now. Hopefully, it will look like Kevin Durant plays on a good team next season, whether it’s the Brooklyn Nets or another. He is still one of the best players in recent years.
