Draisaitl’s hitting short for Edmonton Oilers

Hockey national team player Leon Draisaitl’s 33rd goal of the season did not prevent the Edmonton Oilers’ second home loss in the NHL for the team.

The Canadian team lost 4-1 to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Oilers ended up with a 41:30 shot on goal ratio.

The evening went much better for Moritz Seider: the 20-year-old made two assists in the Detroit Red Wings’ 6-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers and continued to advertise on his own behalf for the Rookie of the Year election in the National Hockey League.

“It was just the first step. We’ll play them again in a moment, so it will be an interesting pairing for us and of course we want to win everything and get the four points,” said the defender after his side’s first game after the All -Star Game break last weekend.
