After her bad training accident in mid-June, Dorothea Wierer is on the up. The biathlon queen should be in a good mood with her new luxury sled, which she has now presented on social networks.
Abrasions on the arms, legs and face: It was a blessing in disguise that Dorothea Wierer did not suffer anything worse when she fell with her roller skis in training.
“When you lose a wheel on the descent,” the 32-year-old biathlete commented relatively succinctly on her serious accident a little over a week ago.
The incident did not have long-term consequences for Wierer. Just a few days later, she showed an Instagram video again in a good mood during training, this time on the racing bike. The bike from the premium brand Pinarello costs 14,000 euros, but of course Wierer didn’t have to buy it himself.
400 hp for at least 75,000 euros
In the future, Wierer will once again be on the road on four wheels, significantly faster than on a bicycle – also supported by a sponsor.
She recently presented her new car, a bright blue Audi RS Q3, to her more than 600,000 followers in a short clip on social networks. This brings a whopping 400 hp to the road.
In the basic version, the new Wierer bullet already costs around 75,000 euros. There is hardly any upper limit to the price due to possible special requests.
Dorothea Wierer: Car and hiking fan
In the past, she has proven several times that Wierer is not only fast on the cross-country ski run and at the shooting range.
The Italian posed with a red Audi RS3, a bright green RS Q3 and once drove a yellow Lamborghini in 2019.
The biathlon star also cuts a good figure on foot, as another Instagram video from Thursday proves. This shows Wierer climbing a mountain path at a brisk walking pace. “Time for a hike,” the three-time Olympic medalist captioned the clip.
