DFB-Elf for the Nations League again in Herzogenaurach

The German national soccer team will once again be based in Herzogenaurach for the start of the Nations League.

As announced by the German Football Association, the team will move into the “Home Ground” building complex from May 29 to June 10 for the first four match days, as they did before the 2021 European Championship.

The women will also hold two training camps ahead of their European Championships from June 12th to 18th and June 21st to 29th at adidas.

“We not only felt very comfortable with adidas during the European Championships in the summer, we really felt at home. The conditions there are perfect for a team,” said DFB director Oliver Bierhoff.

Women’s national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg also spoke of “perfect opportunities”. She is “sure that the special atmosphere in the camp will bring us a little closer together and that this spirit will help us at the EM.”

In addition to three main buildings with 60 residential units and various work areas, the “World of Sports” in Herzogenaurach also includes numerous sports facilities and fitness facilities.

The men’s national team will play matches against Italy, England and Hungary in the Nations League between June 4th and 14th. After the training camps, the women will start the European Championship against Denmark on July 8th.
