The Chicago Bulls have announced that Derrick Jones Jr. has suffered another setback in the form of an injury. The forward has fractured the index finger of his left hand while he was getting ready at the facilities of the Advocate Center in Chicago. And, according to the medical forecasts of the Illinois franchise, he will be between 6 and 8 additional weeks off.
It should be remembered that Derrick Jones Jr. was already out of the trading floor since January 12 due to a previous injury to his knee.
Transferred from the Portland Blazers in August 2021 in a triple deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he has played 31 official games to date (8 starts) with figures of 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 17.2 minutes.
