Dennis Jastrzembski leaves Hertha BSC

Soccer professional Dennis Jastrzembski is moving from Hertha BSC to Śląsk Wroclaw. As the Berlin Bundesliga club announced, the 21-year-old offensive player signed a contract with the Polish first division club.

“For a player his age, playing time is the most important thing for development. But we didn’t have the prospect of that, so we complied with his request for a change,” said Hertha managing director Fredi Bobic.

Jastrzembski has played for various youth teams at Hertha since 2015 and became German A-Junior Champion in 2018. He later played 16 times in the Bundesliga and in the DFB Cup for the Berliners.

He made eight league appearances this season – none of them under new coach Tayfun Korkut.
