Darts: Fallon Sherrock misses PDC tour card

Setback for Fallon Sherrock: The 27-year-old darts player missed the tour card and thus the eligibility for most tournaments of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2022 again.

The Englishwoman was unable to assert herself at the so-called qualifying school in Milton Keynes, England, which lasted several days. Sherrock was eliminated in the second round on the final day and only ranked 94th overall.

As the only German starter, Ricardo Pietreczko secured the coveted tour ticket. The 27-year-old qualified in ninth place overall at the European Qualifying School in Niedernhausen.

World Cup debutant Fabian Schmutzler narrowly missed the leap into the professional circus, as did Dragutin Horvat, Lukas Wenig and Kai Gotthardt.

In addition, five other German players have the tour card in the World Cup participants Gabriel Clemens, Florian Hempel and Martin Schindler as well as Max Hopp and Michael Unterbuchner.
