Curious game interruption in the English Premier League: The game between FC Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers was interrupted on Saturday afternoon after around half an hour of play when the score was 0-0 due to a drone over the field.
It was initially unclear why the flying object was circling over the stadium.
Referee Peter Bankers called both teams into the dressing room, after a 26-minute break the first half continued with 19 minutes of added time.
The game had previously been interrupted after a collision between Brentford’s Mathias Jensen and Rico Henry.
