Filip Kostic, who has recently been increasingly associated with a change, has started training at Eintracht Frankfurt as planned.
The Serbian winger, like the German national goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, was on the pitch for the first time on Thursday during team training for the Bundesliga soccer team. While the other national players had already returned on Monday, the duo received a few days of special leave.
Kostic’s contract with Eintracht expires in 2023, and there have recently been rumors of a summer move to Juventus. But talks about an extension of the contract are currently underway.
Kostic played a major part in last season’s Europa League triumph and was voted the best player in the competition by a panel of experts from the European Football Union (UEFA).
