Just like his twin brother did with the Charlotte Hornets, Caleb Martin has secured his future with the Miami Heat by reaching a 3-year, $20 million renewal deal, Shams Charania reported. The Athletic.
Martin arrived at the Florida franchise signing a ‘dual contract’ after two courses in North Carolina. After the good work of him in the rotation of Erik Spoelstra, the management led by Pat Riley decided to entrust him with a guaranteed agreement in February 2022 until the end of last season.
In 60 official games with the Heat (12 as a starter) he obtained averages of 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1 steal of the ball in 22.9 minutes per day.
After the escape of PJ Tucker towards the Philadelphia 76ers, the Miami have ensured the continuity of Victor Oladipo, Dwayne Dedmon, and now that of the aforementioned Martin.
