The Bietigheim Steelers from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) have to be in quarantine for the second time this month because of positive corona tests. The club announced this.
Because of the arrangement, the derby at the Schwenninger Wild Wings scheduled for Friday evening and the home game on Sunday against the Krefeld Pinguine are cancelled.
The health department had already ordered a quarantine for a large part of the team on January 8th. On Wednesday, the newly promoted team played for the Wolfsburg Grizzlys (3:5).
The Straubing Tigers are currently eleven players in isolation. The game scheduled for Friday evening at Meister Eisbären Berlin cannot take place.
