Norwegians in altitude training

The Norwegians traveled to Ruhpolding without their top stars. The team for the Olympics is in altitude training. Instead, athletes from the IBU Cup around Erlend Bjøntegaard were nominated. It will be interesting to see what they will deliver on the big stage today. After all, Bjøntegaard is no stranger and the young squad of Norwegians has already had a number of successes this winter.

Sable ahead of season debut

David Zobel from SC Partenkirchen received a starting place after good performances in the IBU Cup. There he is currently fourth in the overall standings behind three Norwegians. He will start today with start number 116 as the last athlete. In addition, Benedikt Doll (starting number 63), Erik Lesser (31), Philipp Nawrath (22) and Roman Rees (47) are on the run.
