FC Barcelona plays its next trump card in poker for Robert Lewandowski – and it has it all. According to Polish media, the Catalans will send Bayern an even better offer. Possibly one that Munich cannot refuse.
32 million euros were not enough for FC Bayern, as was the combination of 35+5 million euros. Another offer from FC Barcelona for Robert Lewandowski in the amount of 40+7 million euros was recently spoken of in Spain.
But even with this offer, the people of Munich, who, according to “Sky”, are now demanding 60 million euros for the world footballer, are said to have waved it off. The Catalans do not want to give up the fight for the Pole for a long time.
The Polish portal “meczyki” reports on Tuesday about another offer from Barca, which should arrive in Munich in the coming days. And this offer is still higher than the 40+7 million euros that are said to be on the table so far.
It is said that FC Barcelona is ready to offer FC Bayern a total package of 40+10 million euros. This would mean that the Spanish club would reach the 50 million that until a few days ago were traded as the desired sum of the German record champions.
FC Bayern would like a timely solution
It can only be speculated whether FC Bayern would be weak with this offer. The fact is, however, that all parties want a timely solution.
The Munich team will start training on July 12, and a few days later FC Barcelona will go on a preparatory tour in the USA. By then, the topic should be finally done with.
Robert Lewandowski, who is said to have recently exchanged views with his advisor Pini Zahavi and Barca boss Joan Laporta, also wants that. According to “Sport”, Laporta assured the Pole that he would do everything to complete the change soon.
