FC Bayern has set the course for the future and tied a youngster to the club for a longer period of time. Yusuf Kabadayi will continue to wear the Munich jersey in the future. The new contract ends in summer 2024.
Yusuf Kabadayi has been lacing up the shoes for FC Bayern since the U8s, who want to give the offensive player the opportunity to become the next home-grown player to make it into the professional squad.
“If anyone deserves to be called homegrown, then it’s Yusi. We’re really happy that he’s going into the future with us and wants to establish himself here in men’s football,” said campus director Jochen Sauer.fcbayern.com” quoted. “Yusi is a great striker, he is a crook. I’m very excited about his future path with us, but basically I have a lot of confidence in him,” says Holger Seitz, sporting director at the FC Bayern Campus.
Kabadayi also has his say on the club’s website: “I was born in Munich and have played for FC Bayern since I was little. That’s why I’m grateful and I’m really looking forward to being able to complete the next development steps at my club. “It was hard for me”
The 18-year-old is currently chasing goals for the U19s and U23s. In 2021/22 he scored four goals in seven appearances for the A-Juniors, for FC Bayern II he scored three times (one assist) in five games.
A shoulder injury prevented further appearances, which put the German junior international out of action from the end of September to the beginning of 2022.
