Eight Austrians

The Austrians start the race with the tailwind from Adelboden. Johannes Strolz (car number 20) surprisingly won there, Manuel Feller (5) finished second. And then there would also be Marco Schwarz (2), Michael Matt (9) and Fabio Gstrein (17). We will dedicate ourselves to the other ÖSV athletes in the course of the competition.

German sextet

The German Ski Association is at the start in impressive numbers. Six men want to face the competition. We have a special focus on Linus Straßer (car number 11), the third from Adelboden. We are also expecting Anton Tremmel (40), Julian Rauchfuss (53), Fabian Himmelsbach (55), David Ketterer (60) and Alexander Schmid (67).

daily task

An almost 650 meter long piste awaits the 67 athletes as a challenge. From the start at 1,475 meters, Simone Deldio’s course shows the way down the 194 meters to the finish. The Italian coach, who works for the French FA, has scored 64 goals.

Welcome to the Bernese Oberland! Alpine skiers are holding the 92nd International Lauberhorn Races this weekend at a traditional site in Wengen. After yesterday’s downhill classic, today’s men’s slalom is scheduled to start at 10:15 am.
