One day after basketball professional Nick Weiler-Babb’s serious accident, FC Bayern Munich gave at least some of the all-clear.
“He survived the night well. The heavy things are gone,” said a club spokesman when asked by “dpa”. The 26-year-old American is in the hospital. It is not yet clear when he will be able to leave.
Weiler-Babb fell during a dunk attempt in the Bundesliga game against the Hamburg Towers, lost consciousness and had to be carried off the floor on a stretcher. “Contusions and a severe concussion,” was the first diagnosis.
