After a corona break of more than two weeks, ALBA Berlin has to wait for the first win.
The German champions, who lost out twice in the EuroLeague during the week, lost 75-76 (38-44) to the MHP giants Ludwigsburg in the Basketball Bundesliga on Sunday.
Defending champion ALBA, who lost at Armani Milan (76:84) on Tuesday and at home to Real Madrid (74:89) on Thursday, fought a gripping battle with Ludwigsburg.
After a 0:7 negative run at the beginning of the final quarter to 61:68, the Berliners regained the lead (75:74/39th minute), Tremmell Darden shot Ludwigsburg to victory ten seconds before the end.
The best thrower for the hosts (20:10 points) was Jaleen Smith (12), with the MHP giants (24:12) Darden (22) excelled.
The Telekom Baskets Bonn meanwhile reported back after three bankruptcies in a row. The team around the outstanding top scorer Parker Jackson-Cartwright (40 points) beat the former series champion Brose Bamberg 95:41 (52:39) and at least temporarily took the lead again with 26:10 points.
Bayern Munich (24:8) could pass in the evening.
