Alan Pulido is ‘devastated’ by injury that leaves him out of MLS 2022 and the Qatar 2022 World Cup

A painful news was what he received the mexican striker Alan Pulido, after confirming that he will not be able to play the 2022 season of the Major League Soccer (MLS) nor with the Mexican team in the next World Cup Qatar 2022, in the wake of an injury to the left knee.

In the run-up to his operation, scheduled for Monday, January 17, and considering that recovery time is estimated between nine and 12 months, the attacker used his social networks to express his feelings regarding this situation that marginalizes him this year.

In the statement, Pulido thanked the support from Sporting kansas city, especially, the managers and their fans, since his arrival in MLS in 2020, and he did not hide his sadness for not being able to be part of the future team of Mexico in the upcoming World Cup.

“While I am devastated by this news, I wanted to say thank you for your unconditional support since I came to the club in 2020. We share huge memories and you were by my side and my companions during difficult times too”, he left pointing to the former Chivas.

In that sense, Pulido added that “andIt’s heartbreaking to miss the new season (of MLS) and the Qatar 2022 World Cup. I’ve had injuries previously, but never a serious injury like this. But I am determined to come back stronger and I will fight for this team with everything in 2023.
