As the investigators confirmed on Sunday, six of the ten wanted persons are already in custody, four others have not yet been found. A 23-year-old main suspect is to be questioned by the public prosecutor’s office on Monday.

“We said from the very beginning that it is a matter of honor for the Greek police, for the judiciary, for the state as a whole that the investigation into the murder of 19-year-old Alkis Kampanos comes to an end,” said Citizen Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos : “We will find the culprits and bring them to justice.”

The attack happened early Tuesday morning. The 19-year-old was fatally wounded and two of his friends were injured. The crime happened near the stadium of Aris Thessaloniki.
