Admir Mehmedi is moving to the Sahin club in Turkey

The Swiss Admir Mehmedi leaves the Bundesliga soccer club VfL Wolfsburg and joins the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor.

The Turks, who are trained by former BVB and Werder professional Nuri Sahin, announced this on Friday evening. Accordingly, the 30-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer indicated on Thursday that Mehmedi was in “advanced talks” with a club. The long-time national player came to Wolfsburg from Leverkusen in 2019 and made a total of 84 games and 13 goals.
