Aaron Rodgers smiles: The Packers will have luxury reinforcements for the 2022 NFL Playoffs

Many thought before the 2021-22 season of the National Football League (NFL) that in the face of the conflict related to Aaron Rodgers, to the Green Bay Packers it would not go well for them. This could not be less true, since the issue was resolved quickly and today they are candidates to win the ring of superbowl.

Rodgers didn’t just make amends with the general manager. Brian Gutekunst, but he also had one of his best seasons once, and could win his second consecutive MVP award. Green Bay has a free date in the Wild-Card week and will wait for a rival for the divisional round for having the best record in the NFC.

There, they could meet in a rematch against Tampa bay buccaneers from Tom brady, if they win philadelphia eagles in their duel. Whatever happens, the Wisconsin franchise will be stronger than ever, because they would bring back two Pro-Bowl-level defenders, in addition to having already brought back David Bakhtiari, the team’s star left tackle.

The Packers’ star defenders returning for the 2022 NFL Playoffs

One of those who returns is the defensive end Za’Darius Smith, who this Wednesday was designated by the franchise to come off injured reserve. He’ll have this week of training to get into a groove and if all goes well, he’ll make his debut in the biggest game of the season so far.

The other that could come back is the corner Jair Alexander. He had been designated to return on the last date, but entered the COVID protocols. He’s a top-five CB for the past two years, and both would add to an already established defense, making it even more fearsome.
