1. FSV Mainz 05: spectator confusion annoys Svensson

The strict and nationwide different spectator restrictions in the Bundesliga stadiums cause a certain lack of understanding on the part of coach Bo Svensson from FSV Mainz 05.

“The football game takes place outside,” said the Dane on Thursday: “I’m not an expert, but I can only be a little surprised.” In the home game against promoted VfL Bochum on Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky) 1000 spectators are allowed.

“In a stadium with 80,000 spectators in Dortmund, only 750 are allowed,” explained Svensson: “Here with us there are 34,000 seats – and 1000 fit in. That surprises me a bit, I have to admit that honestly.”
